What do I need for check-in?
If you are a European citizen, we will need your passport or Identity card. If you are from outside of Europe, you are obliged to present us your passport. We will also request a hardcopy of your reservation. The payment of the entire stay will be done upon check-in.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in starts after 14:00 o´clock and check-out is before 12:00 o´clock. If you arrive before 14:00 o ´clock you can leave your personal items in our luggage room and come back later to check-in. Reception is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
What time should I leave the hostel?
Check-out is before 12:00 o´clock. If you are still occupying the room after this time, we will charge you for an extra night. Nevertheless, you can stay in all common areas of the hostel and leave your luggage in case you have a late flight or bus.
Can have a later check-out time?
If you want to stay more time in the room, you can ask for a ¨late check-out¨ till 13:30 o´clock. This service has a cost of 5€ per person and can only be confirmed depending on our availability. You must request the late check-out at least one night before your check-out date. In case you did not request a late check-out and still check-out after 12:00 o´clock on the day of your departure, we will charge you with an extra night.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservation online: fill out all the information requested on the online reservation form, on the main page, and follow the instructions coming after. Once you have completed all stages, you will receive a confirmation email with the number- and details of your reservation. Reservation via email: You can send us an email to email@example.com for reservations or special requests. Groups: For groups consisting of 10 people or more, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will reply as soon as possible.
Will I be charged a reservation fee?
On the website of Mad4You Hostel we will not charge you with any reservation fee. If you reserve online though another website, it is possible that you will need to pay a small percentage of the total reservation in advance. If you reserve via email or by telephone, we will charge you for the first night as a deposit of the reservation. For this payment we will request a credit card.
With how much time in advance do I need to inform about cancelling or modifying my reservation?
The cancellation policy depends on the rate type you have chosen for your reservation. Below we will explain the cancellation policy for each of the two rates we offer.
Cancellation policy for the Standard rate: If you want to cancel or modify your reservation, you need to inform us at least 48 hours before the date of your check in, writing an email to email@example.com. If you cancel or modify with less than 48 hours in advance, we will charge you for the first night. We do not accept cancellations and modifications over the telephone.
Cancellation policy for the Non-refundable rate: In case you cancel or modify this reservation or in case of no-show, the total amount of the reservation will not be refunded.
How many nights can I stay at the Hostel?
You can make a reservation for a maximum of 7 nights. If you need to stay longer, we kindly ask you to ask the reception for information about long stays.
Is bed linen included?
The bed sheets, pillow cases and blankets are always included in the price.
Are towels included?
You can rent a towel at the reception for 2€. Every time you bring back the used towel, we will give you a clean one without any additional cost. You need to return the towel at the reception upon check-out. In case you have lost it, we will charge you with a fine of 5€.
Is there free internet access?
Mad4You Hostel has free WiFi throughout the entire building. We also have a computer at reception that can be used free of charge.
Is there a curfew?
There is no curfew, reception is open 24 hours per day. The doors and common areas close at midnight and you will be asked to identify yourself if you want to enter the Hostel after this hour.
Is there any type of food available?
Breakfast is served every morning from 08:00 to 10:30 o´clock and is always included in the price. Furthermore, we have a bar that is open from 08:00 to 00:00 o´clock, where we offer different types of drinks and snacks.
What is breakfast like?
Breakfast is served in buffet style and includes freshly baked bread, brought to us each morning, croissants, ham, cheese, jams, chocolate spread, fresh tomato spread, two types of cereals, yogurt, fruits, coffee, tea, milk and juice.
Are the rooms unisex?
We have one room that is exclusively for women. All other dormitories are unisex.
We accept cash and all types of debit- and credit cards.
People under the age of 18 can stay at the hostel?
If a guest is under the age of 18, he or she can only stay at our accommodation if they bring a signed authorization from a parent or legal guardian. If a guest is under the age of 16, he or she needs to be accompanied by an adult and need the stay in a private room or in a dormitory reserved completely for the underaged and his or her companions.
Are there lockers in the rooms?
All our dormitories have private lockers that can be used with the key-card of the room, without any additional cost.
Can I pay for my reservation in advance?
Yes, it is possible to pay the total of your reservation before your arrival. Please, be advised that reservations which are paid in advance are not refundable.
