How to arrive from the airport?
We will explain how to get to Mad4You Hostel from the Barajas Madrid airport:
The Barajas airport has two metro stations: “Aeropuerto T1, T2, T3” and “Aeropuerto T4” (depending at which terminal you arrive). From any of these two stations, you should take line 8 (pink) till “Nuevos Ministerios” and after, change to line 10 (dark blue) till the stop of “Tribunal”. The metro ticket, including the airport supplement, has a price of 5€ and the trip takes around 30 minutes. When you exit the metro (Exit: C/ Fuencarral) you need to walk down Calle La Palma (there is a pharmacy on the corner) and turn to the left onto our street (which is the 5th one), Costanilla de San Vicente. We are located on the left side of the street, at number 4.
At Barajas Madrid Airport there is a taxi-stop where taxis are waiting 24 hours a day to take travellers to their destinations. You must mention our address to the taxi driver: Costanilla de San Vicente, number 4, in the area of Malasaña (Madrid city centre). The price of the trip from the airport to any part of the city of Madrid is 30€. This is a fixed price; therefore, the taxi driver cannot charge you more than this amount. The time of the trip depends on traffic. If there is not traffic, the trip takes around 20 minutes.
