So, you want to travel to Madrid and, yeah, you made the right choice and booked your stay with us. Well done backpackers!

Now, what it is really important is to know how to get to our Hostel, that is why we have decided to make three videos explaining the best ways to walk to Mad4You Hostel from the three different metro stations close to us!

SAN BERNARDO: You will stop here if you take line 4 (brown), the one that comes directly from the bus station Avenida America.

TRIBUNAL: Lines 1 and 10 (blue and light blue) are connected with the Tribunal metro station and it is very likely that you stop here if you are coming from the airport or from the Atocha train station.

NOVICIADO: Lines 2 and 3 (red and yellow). Useful if you are coming from the city center.

As you might have seen in our videos; our hostel in Madrid is really well connected. For example, it takes no more than 40 minutes to get to the airport, less than 20 to Avenida America and about a  10 minute walk from the city centre.

Besides, if you want to party, there are many options around Mad4you. We are right in the heart of the Malasaña neighborhood so you will not get bored! To give you some examples, in this blog we are recommending you two nice places. One to get started and another just in case you want to make your night longer.

Via Lactea: Really near to our hostel. This pub was one of the most famous ones when the Movida Madrileña started back in the 80’s. Pedro Almodovar, the super famous movie director, used to be a regular in this club!

Siroco: Electronic music until the sun rises. On the first floor you will listen to pop and dance hits but the best party is in the basement of this place.

But we reckon that before a good party you will need to eat something first. Guess what? Our neighborhood has a huge variety of places where you can fill up your belly: Indian food, fast food, typical Spanish, kebab, burgers, Italian, you choose!

Since no one understands backpackers needs as we do, we know how important it is to have a nice fulfilling meal and save money at the same time; so here are two excellent choices:

Maki (San Ildefonso square – next to Fuencarral street): a cheerful Japanese restaurant with a nice terrace.

Chilango (Manuela Malasaña, 12): Mexican food. Do not miss out on their nachos, best in town!
